Buyer beware this so called bumper to bumper coverage is not as it was described to us. The contract mentioned everything related to our windshield wiper switch would be covered except diagnostics fee and sales tax. I had no problems paying sales tax but the other charge is a joke! The diagnostic charge was more than the repair charge repair I paid more for the repair than Route 66 paid. While I don't usually purchase warranties, I was talked into this one by the Bank covering my auto loan. I submitted a claim for a repair, but was prompted to provide oil change records. I do my own work and to keep paper receipts is hard enough, but to also keep them for 2 years seems impossible. Seeing as I did not have the receipts I was informed to go to the Auto Store and request them. THEY COULD NOT GIVE THEM. I was in a very difficult situation and my case manager was extremely helpful and understanding. Anne was absolutely fantastic and made me feel cared about and valued. My difficult situation was resolved and I was so relieved. The service I received was above and beyond.
My son just took his 2013 Fiat into a Midas shop to check out a roar in the engine area. Turns out the bearings were bad (50,000 miles) and ASC confirmed to the shop that it was covered and the repairs are being made. No deductible as well. This is the second car that I have had covered with this extended warranty and every time I have had a problem, they have fixed it with no problem.
