I purchased this extended warranty. I had one claim in almost 3 years (very small) and when I sold my car and cancelled this warranty they said I will receive a credit for the unused miles/time minus my claim. Why do I pay for an extended warranty and the claim? I feel that if I had known this I would not have purchased this warranty, it doesn't make any sense to pay $50 a month and any and all claims if you cancel this policy.

Terrible warranty company. Claims your warranty doesn't cover the sensor for a camshaft when the camshaft is listed as warrantied. Dishonest business practices. Avoid at all cost.

We purchased the ASC warranty when we bought our used Chevrolet Tahoe. We had an issue with the transfer case and took in to be repaired. ASC promptly reviewed and approved the repair with no issues, and promptly reimbursed part of my car rental with no issues. Very happy with the customer service

I have a 2011 Buick Regal that I purchased in January of 2015. I purchased this warranty for an additional 3500 to cover any major complications. My transmission just died and I called the warranty company, informed them what was reported to me from a known company that checked the car and they are trying to charge me 1100 for a rebuilt transmission, which is not a final cost bcz depending on if other parts internally are bad I have to pay for them to or 300 for a used transmission...HOLD ON... what was is the purpose of pay... read more

As a reputable new car dealership and repair facility we called in as required and received the authorization from Haley at ASC warranty approving the repairs and once the repairs were completed the invoice was faxed over for payment as requested. Advisor did not do his job correctly and follow up for payment in a timely matter and by the time the accounting office caught the outstanding balance 90 days had elapsed they will not make the agreed upon payment. Consumer and repair facilities need to stay far away from this comp... read more

Just had a warranty on a transmission in my Silverado. They let me pick my shop and covered the work. They worked great to get the job done fast and worked with me to make me a happy customer. Daniel was a big help and worked with the shop to get a better price. thank you
I bought an extended service warranty for my vehicle in January 2012. I sold the vehicle in March 2017. I never made a claim under the service contract. I was told I would receive approximately $485 of my initial premium back. I did not: I received a check for $284 and a copy of a request ASC supposedly mailed to the original selling broker to refund another $202 to me. The problem with this was that the original broker representing the company went out of business in 2013. The alleged note to the issuing broker cited a no l... read more

What I know: This warranty company sells via small credit unions throughout the USA. The list of things that they don't cover is small but mighty. The top warranty sold by them lacks greatly so you can imagine that any warranty beneath it is pointless. The prices are low but the service matches. They pride themselves on covering so many components but they know exactly what not to cover to avoid having to approve a claim. If your car breaks down they will only pay for up to 3 miles ($50) of travel for a tow truck to get your... read more
