Hurray to Route 66! They originally denied the claim for work needed on my auto; however, Kevin S. was notified that I was not pleased, and contacted me to see if he could find a fair way to resolve the issue. He asked me to forward the dealers paperwork to him for further review. After reevaluation, they were able to approve the work; which let me know that they really do care about their customers.

I took my vehicle to Mercedes Benz dealership due to the engine light consistently coming on. After the diagnostic check, the dealer said that I needed a thermostat gasket and to replace the oil centrifuge cover. The dealer contacted Route 66 and the claim was declined. I contacted Route 66 and they stated that neither are listed; therefore not covered. Thermostat is part of the cooling system and oil is leaking, but because both items are not "specifically" listed, they won't cover it. This is crazy to me since they are par... read more

Absolute worst customer service! Tried to have an engine issues fixed with warranty "coverage" obtained through this company, they wanted two years worth of oil changes for every three months! When I said how ridiculous it was as I don't get my oil changed at the same place and would have to figure it out for over two years, they responded with well usually people only use 1-2 places to change their oil. No, actually not. What a ridiculous reason to shadily deny a claim. I have two warranties with this place and will be canc... read more

I purchased Route66 Extended Warranty when I got my car loan through my credit union (SECU MD). I was sold this warranty service as the best warranty available through the credit union and I reviewed the contract and the contract states that electrical and mechanical issues were covered (except for maintenance items such as bulbs, wipers, etc.) which I totally understand. However, I went to the dealership recently because my headlights stopped working. The dealer determined the issue was not the bulb but rather an electrica... read more

We purchased an ASC Warranty with a 2011 Suburban we purchased a little over a year ago. Took it in to the Dealer for a Check Engine light and learned we had a miss on cylinder 5. Turns out to be a damaged lobe on the Cam and required a major repair to fix. The Dealer worked with ASC and after I submitted my service records for the vehicle, the repair was approved and I was back on the road within 3 or 4 days. Repair was over $5K and I was only required to pay a little bit out of my pocket for fluids and tax and such, but I ... read more

I purchased an extended warranty for my vehicle. This warranty was rolled into my loan. ASC told me they were going to send me a refund check for the pro rated amount after I canceled the warranty. They sent me a check that had both my name and the lenders name on it. So the check is useless. I don't understand why I would be sent a check with 2 names on it knowing I can't actually cash the check. So it was basically just for show. It's useless. I was told to contact my financial institution that funded the loan. If I had to... read more

I purchased an ASC deluxe warranty for our 2006 Ford Explorer in 2014. Recently our vehicle encountered a major motor problem that was estimated to cost thousands to repair. The ASC representative Jacob and his supervisor Jesse, were very professional and diligent in their efforts to asses the problem and make fair and sound decisions to resolve the issue. They immediately sent an adjuster to my mechanics garage to review the problem with my mechanic. My mechanic also told me that ASC was very reasonable to work with and use... read more

I so wish I had researched this company but the dealership said they were the best and I was dumb and didn't do my homework! I had a warranty with another company on my son's previous truck and it was amazing. I have my son's truck at the dealership now and of course it's not covered even though I bought the top package in April and paid $3,210!! I am calling to cancel after these reviews. This is not what I was told I was getting so disappointed in Payton GMC in Heber Springs for selling me this crap!! On top of that the com... read more

I had various issues with my 2008 Ford Expedition which included a replacements for oil pan seals, and numerous other seals and gaskets. These are CLEARLY labeled in the Brochure. After the technician gave his diagnostic, ASC claimed that NOTHING was covered. They weasel around every technicality to NOT pay for your repairs. How this company gets an A+ is beyond me! This is the biggest SCAM I have ever been victim too. I would never recommend them to anyone and today I asked for a refund for the remaining balance. What good ... read more
