Local markets stay hot even when the temperatures drop. Atherton continues to host chefs as we transition from summer to fall. Catch their saturday morning "Chef in the Market" series.
Lots of local produce, fish, coffee, desserts, pastries, and meats. Most vendors take square so bring your plastic. It's a really cool place to go early Saturday and enjoy a drink and people watch.
Not Just Coffee, obviously amazing. All the other vendors look awesome too. Only a couple outlets though so be prepared if you planned to work!
The Atherton Market has come into its own as a community hub not only for the locally minded, Lulu-wearing South End population, but for a bulk of the Uptown crowd and surrounding neighborhoods.
Check out Opportunity Farms farm stand. Fresh veggies grown with no pesticides on Tryon Street. Great produce, great mission.
