My ceilidh band, @priceofmypig played for a lovely wedding and DJ set here recently. The staff were really excellent - polite, helpful and efficient. The venue was gorgeous with good facilities.
It is hard to summarise such a fabulous experience staying at Askham Hall and eating in the Allium restaurant. We were given a very warm and detailed welcome by Alice who showed us around and took us up the pele tower to our room with an dramatic view over to Knipe Scar. It was great to have a wander around the well kept gardens with everything labelled (including many Alliums...) and seeing the kitchen garden too where much of what you see will shortly be on your plate. Had my son and our daughter in law wedding there on Thursday 14/8/25 what a day it was. Cannot thank the staff at Askham Hall enough for their attention and help for making the wedding day perfect. From arriving to leaving everyone was taken care of. BBQ the night before excellent and big day was amazing. Accommodation, breakfast both days and the wedding food all fabulous. A big thanks to all the team Askham for the perfect day!!!
Just back from a 2 night stay at Askam hall for my 60th birthday celebration, a magnificent building in a stunning location. The staff, without exception were professional yet friendly and so attentive. Had the taster menu in the restaurant, every dish was delicious & presented beautifully. Great walks immediately around the hotel and further afield if you want to venture out. Thank you Askam staff for a special 60th birthday
