We recently, during the Covid-19 Pandemic, asked Jon A****** of ASHCO Home Inspections, to conduct a pre-purchase home inspection for us in the Port Orchard area. We were not in the local area at the time and relied on Jon to ensure our purchase was not foolish. Jon was fantastic to work with! He is very thorough and provides detailed and easy to follow inspection reports (the very same day). He was patient with all of our questions and went above and beyond in explaining everything. He made the entire process very enjoyable. We highly recommend him.
I was working with Jon today and he was nothing short of great. He is highly knowledgable. Not only did he point out things that needed to be fixed, but he provided information on how to properly fix it. He was extremely thorough and has great eyes to spot potential problems. Working with Jon on the inspection of our potential home was great! He was very thorough, as other reviews indicate, but more so, he invited me to walk around with him and provide thoughts and suggestions of how to improve things. Jon was on time and did a complete & thorough inspection. He caught items that I had never noticed or thought to check. He took the time to explain items I was unfamiliar with. My report came back the same day. Strongly recommend.
John was professional and meticulous in his inspection. Highly knowledgeable, he took the time to explain what he was looking for and what he was seeing throughout the process. Had the opportunity to utilize his service on multiple listings and he was consistent and provided valuable information to assist in our evaluation of the homes. Pricing is fair and reasonable. John was available on short notice, professional and courteous. He was exceptionally informative about his findings and he took the time to explain some fundamentals of home ownership such as furnace maintenance and window removal (for cleaning).
