It is 3am in London, I just woke up from an itch due to the presence of insects in my bed. Indeed, despite our warnings about the negative comments on bed bugs at the Arriva hotel in London, they did not agree to cancel us for free. So I had to finish the night at reception while waiting for the manager until the morning. I also had to throw my clothes in the trash to avoid bringing these bed bugs to my place in France.
Good location but thats about it.. Definitly do not expect any bells and whistles at this hotel. Its very dirty and smelly, especialy in the reception area. Seriously, I would recommend staying somewhere else. Staff not particularly that friendly or helpful. As for the room, it was tiny and in need of redecorating. It was damp smelling and everthing was broken and/or cheap and nasty. No safety constraints on the window which you could fully open and which was rotted and filled in with filler. No extra pillows.
