I have always been an SRP customer. Recently switched to APS because of the neighborhood change. The area in which I live is ONLY serviced by APS. To start, my first bill just arrived and the bill was over $400. This is not just my electric usage. Over $138 are charges for their services or surchages for who knows what. Granted it is explained in the bill but why would anyone agree to pay this when they don't even benefit from it? APS bill has charges that are not explained on bill, they are a monopoly and are not accountable to anyone, and I don't understand how they can have an A+ rating with the BBB if they have 96% Negative reviews as of right now.

They are not of customers service to elderly disabled people of Arizona. On 04/18/17 I spoke with APS from 602-371-7171 and the first rep all through the Supervisor Amanda Ext 179476, would not mail a low income application form after being told my mother was bedridden and even speaking with mother on the phone. The form has no personal Identifiable information yet they refused to mail the form out. They don't care about their customers especially the elderly disabled.

Horrible... way to many fees... MONOPOLY is the only word you need to know. I do not understand how someone could work for this company. I would love to meet the CEO and give him what he has coming. I would consider moving outside of their monopoly territory just to avoid these winners.

APS customer service seems non-existent. As a new customer, attempting to set up my account has been extremely frustrating because of a lack of explanation on the representative's part in regards to how I am to pay my security deposit, and also the rude response I got when asking for an explanation as to why my 800 credit score doesn't waive my deposit. Due to the complete lack of explanation of HOW I am supposed to pay my deposit, I attempted to call back but was given a 55 minute wait time. I requested to be called back. ... read more

The worst customer service ever. We opening a new account- a deposit was due. I paid half the deposit and was told the other half was due 11/9. When creating an account and logging in to pay the other half- my account showed nothing owed. I then called- once i got to the make a payment - it also told me no payment was due. I also received nothing in the mail at this point either. I then waited on hold for 30 minutes to make sure- Don't want the power to get turned off.... APS has usually been easy to work with as far as customer service goes, however one bad apple has caused me to file this complaint. I had made a payment arrangement with APS. They worked great with me and were so understanding and compassionate. This meant a lot to me since I am a breast cancer patient and is struggling financially due to treatments. APS Sucks!!! They are thiefs and ******* there customers over. My September bill I used $87.91in electricity. My bill after all the misc fees was $174.11 Double. I called for some answers to why my fees are more then my usage. My answer I received were allowed to charge you all of these fees. What a answer.
