First time visit on Friday last week and had my haircut by Jacob. Was greeted with a friendly welcome upon arrival and instantly felt relaxed. Jacob was excellent and took the time to make sure I got the cut I wanted. Overall it was a great experience and I’ve booked a return appointment. I would highly recommend, thank you.

Jacob has been cutting my hair for over six months now, and he always does a great job. He’s reliable, consistent, and really knows what he’s doing. I’d highly recommend him, as well as the other barbers at Arete, if you’re looking for a skilled hairdresser. The atmosphere in the shop is relaxed and welcoming, and the customer service is always excellent.

I can’t recommend Arete enough! The team is incredibly professional, and every appointment feels personal and important to them. Matt is phenomenal, but honestly, the entire team is amazing. They’re by far the best male hairdressers in the Midlands if not the UK, and the vibe in the place is just fantastic- welcoming, stylish, and full of energy. If you’re looking for not only an amazing haircut but also a great experience, this is the place.
