Only walked through gardens. Loved it. Wild and untamed. Great juxtaposition to Logan and Culzean. Lovely to see it being slowly reclaimed having been abandoned years ago. Also how easy it is for nature to reclaim! Good luck to those putting their backs into it. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Thanks.
Second visit to the gardens. Fantastic that the gardens are being brought back to life. A lot of hard work & dedication. Met Wayne whose passion for the gardens is wonderful. Well worth visiting, beautiful location & a very special place.
We have just spent a lovely week in Groom's Cottage, exploring the gardens and the surrounding coastline. Wayne and Alastair were very welcoming and friendly and we are hoping to stay again. Carole and Malcolm.
Terug in Nederland denken we nog regelmatig terug aan het fijne bezoek aan The Nearly Lost Gardens of Arbigland. Wij dachten naar een oude ruïne te gaan, maar kwamen bij toeval in de tuinen terecht. Daar kregen we een rondleiding van een van de eigenaren. Hij vertelde over de geschiedenis van de tuin en nam ons mee naar verschillende bijzondere bomen. Het huis hebben we niet bezocht, dus we komen zeker nog een keer terug als we weer op vakantie naar Schotland gaan. Ook om te kijken hoe de tuin zich ontwikkelt. Een hele fijne... read more
We had a wonderful time staying here. Wayne and Alistair could not have been more welcoming. Grandson Tobias aged five loved our fantastic walk with Wayne shoving us this beautiful area. Cottage was well equipped and cosy. Highly recommend. With huge thanks Ian, Tone and Wee Tobias.
