All in all, a nice hotel - but not 5 star luxury, and certainly not worth the price advertised. Positives: Great location and well-finished, clean rooms. Food was good (though not 5-star standard) and staff polite and friendly. Less positives: Overpriced for the room size - we knew it was the smallest room but it wasn't even a double bed in the room (my 6ft tall husband didn't fit...). A lovely and well kept hotel. The room was roomy, stylish, very clean and the bathroom was first class. We stayed for 3 nights on a buy two nights, get the third free offer that was running. This made it very competitive with similar quality hotels in the area. The location is brilliant with bus links to Bowness, Kendal, Ambleside, Keswick and much more. I did a delivery there and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Must be a lovely place to stay.
