Lovely hotel with friendly, accommodating staff. Can’t fault anything. The food is top notch and the rooms decorated beautifully

We have recently stayed at Applegarth for our twelth time.The whole experience from arrival was second to none. The family atmosphere and lovely staff made our visit once again a pleasurable one.The Apple restaurant is a perfect place to dine, the food and service are five star. Well worth a visit and we're already planning our next trip.

Fabulous location, excellent service, beautiful property. The owners Kevin and Michelle are very hands on and make sure that their guests are well taken care of. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A good shower and tub. I really enjoyed sitting by the window in the dining room for breakfast and dinner. Michelle and Kevin were very good resources for planning your day. The Villa is about 1/2 block from the center of town. I highly recommend a stay here. It is a relaxing respite from the world in a beautiful place.

Classic hotel with a cozy interior, but not advisable during the summer (hot weather/heat wave). There is no Air Conditioning in the hotel, which made the room too hot and uncomfortable during the summer (traveled last August). The breakfast is based on a selection from the menu, which was not too bad but also a bit limited. This is a family-owned hotel and the staff were helpful with assisting us. Overall, I personally would not view it as a 5-star hotel mainly due to lacking Air Conditioning and its classic (a bit old) roo... read more
