We will never darken their doorway again. The techs nor the vet would touch our dog to investigate her injuries. She is a 4 pound mix. They wanted to put her under for over $600 just to look at her. I got her antibiotics and painkillers and left. With no sedation or muzzlinhg our vet tech held her, shaved her neck so the vet could investigate her injuries. She was then put under anesthesia and received 6 stitches. They only charged me a $120. I paid $250 for basically nothing at Animal Emergency Specialty.
they were knowledgable, fair and compassionate. all members of the stall were willing to help with my needs.
They made such a tragic event so peaceful and just what we wanted. We lost our best friend, but they were so understanding and respected our last wishes for him. I could not be more thankful for their kind and loving team!
Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
Courteous and professional did not try to oversell On pet care
It was exceptional. We have had some bad experiences with some vets. So I'm very leery. But they took a full family history, actually read my dogs chart and gave detailed information on what needed to be done and why. Also, what we should expect from treatment and going forward. I appreciated the time and bedside manner given to us. I sing their praises. And the same goes for University of Tennessee.
The staff was friendly, professional and answered any questions that I had.
Pet emergencies are truly scary times, and the staff's patience, calmness, knowledge, and professionalism here really helped put me at ease so that I could focus on what was important. Their overwhelming competence helped me calm down for my dog. The facility was spotlessly clean and they were transparent with me throughout the entire process. This will be the only emergency vet I use in the future.
