We had booked a room at the White Eagle for the 4th December, 2025 for 2 nights, for an event they have starting at 10.30 am on the 4th. We had also booked an evening meal at the same location. After we booked we are told you cannot be access the room until after 5pm, which I think is unreasonable. It would be nice to be able to have a few drinks and relax in the room before dinner ( 3pm is reasonable) . We have basically been told to like it or lump it. Also our deposit is none refundable, even though it is 3 months away.
I have used Anglesey Holiday Lettings for a few years now when looking to book a house for my stays on the island. The guest services team are fabulous, nothing is too much trouble. From booking to leaving, all communication I have received has been 5* which is why I keep returning. All the properties I have stayed in are immaculate from the clean and tidy kitchens to the comfy beds and fresh linen - they provide superb accommodation. Lovely location, near the beach, very clean and tidy, Discount for returning customers is appreciated, parking space a plus just needs to be clearly written on post outside.
