Fantastic Sunday Lunch passing through staying local booked on line fabulous meal beef,pork,lamb plenty veg washed down with good Ale, well worth a visit if your in Area locals must love this place....

Not about the hotel but the restaurant......Called in for something toneat after a day driving and other places being closed for service as we were running late for lunch really. Came across the Anglers Arms and I was so pleased all the others were not serving. What a find! We booked a meal here for tonight We were really looking forward to it Having used this hotel for around 18 years previously Not been upto Northumberland for 2 years God knows what has happened to this place ? Stroppy uninterested waitress Meal very bland The pub itself has lost all its identity We won't be returning What a shame
