My interaction with Dr. Grollman left me angry and disappointed. He scoffed when I told him I was experiencing cramps in the area of my prostate, telling me that was impossible because the prostate isn't a muscle. It took a visit with his PA Samiul Islam to learn that the correct nomenclature for the pain I was experiencing was "spasm," and that there was a medication I could take to alleviate the pain I was suffering. Instead of dismissing my pain because of the lack of the proper term Dr. Grollman could have prescribed the... read more

Worst Dr. I have ever seen. 4 calls & 3 days later my pharmacy received my prescription. Was told my kidney stone was gone but radiology report showed it in same place. Mis read my chart and was argumentative when I told him what the radiology report said. Too arrogant to admit he didn’t read the report and said those reports can’t be trusted. Told to see one of his PA’s because he’s to busy. Condescending and rude. Never never see him!

Doesn't listen, even to his own findings. I filled out the silly sheet concerning bladder function. From my answers, he diagnosed an enlarged prostate, even though I was clear the sheet didn't cover my case. The last thing he did was a prostate exam. That exam determined my prostate wasn't enlarged yet he did not change his diagnosis, instead he left the room so fast I was reminded of The Roadrunner messing with Wile E Coyote. I ended up with prescriptions specific to enlarged prostate that simply aren't indicated for anythi... read more

Dr Grollman made an incorrect diagnosis when i had an abcessed cyst, which could have had serious results. I had gone to ER previous to my visit with Dr Grollman, and was tol it was an abcessed cyst in their opinion. Dr Grollman said it was inflamed tissue? I did not trust him and I saw another urologist 3 days later and he drained the cyst and I am doing much better now. I would not go back to Dr Grollman.

Super professional and very nice personality and very resoectful and thorough. He is definitely beyond what my definition of what a real Dr./ Surgeon is.

Although technically competent it seemed he was not interested in learning my symptoms and concerns. He also missed a clue as he did not do a physical examination - as he apparently relies on testing.
