Dr. Grollman is patient and thorough. He recommended transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) for my BPH. The surgery was done without any problems, and recovery was painless. He answered all my questions completely. He is competent, thorough, and effective - all you can reasonably ask of a physician. I recommend him without reservations.

Dr. Grollman, medical assistant and office extremely hard to get a hold of. Left high priority messages never returned. Did NOT relay biopsy results via appointment but thru MyChart extremely unprofessional.
Worst experience I have ever had with a Dr. He was incredibly condescending, argumentative, dismissive.... He did not take any vitals, do an examination or even wish to see hospital records, no imaging tests suggested, no blood work recommended or any follow up visit discussed. Worst ever. As if the medical process is not stressful enough, add this on top. Drove three hours to be dismissed with little to no concern.
I had a prostatectomy in January. Unfortunately a complication from the surgery developed. In the ensuing time frame it took to resolve the complication Dr Grollman was nothing short of outstanding in my treatment and care. Hospital says were involved and Dr Grollman was there every morning to check on me and my progress. I do not understand the bad reviews for Dr Grollman. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a urologist.
Rude, condescending. I left my appointment after 12 minutes, which was probably 10 minutes more than I should have stayed.
I have had 3 appointments with Dr Grollman and one of those was a prostate biopsy. He told me what to expect and it went exactly as he said and was not nearly as bad as I had expected. Excellent Provider
My visit with Dr. Grollman was a follow-up apt. The entire staff were courteous and professional and Dr. Grollman was caring and anxious to see how I was doing. I will continue to have him as my Urologist!
Very good visit, all questions answered, took me early.
