Dr. Grollman has been my urologist for several years and has removed several of my stones. While he may be a skilled surgeon, his bedside manners are horrendous. He is always impatient and arrogant, constantly tries to defer me to his PA's, and his office never responds to MyChart messages or prescription requests. I guess if you need the soup nazi, terrible customer service should be expected.
My experience with Dr. Grollman has been quick and efficient. Any questions were answered with frankness and clarity. I would recommend Dr. Grollman to people looking for a Urologist.
I would definitely recommend him. My mom is almost 93 and he was great with her and put her at ease. She’s sharp for her age and likes that he addresses her and speaks TO her. He is efficient and knowledgeable.
Went well, in and out in no time. Questions answered. Problem taken care of and I will return for follow up.
Dr. Grollman has been excellent in seeing me through a difficult time to have a prostate problem (during pandemic), and he has been nothing but the picture of a caring physician. He did a partial prostate removal last April, which was successful, and my recovery was totally smooth. Highly recommended.
First visit to Dr. Grollman. He was clearly prepared for my visit and was aware of my issues. He addressed my issues, made recommendations, was precise and straight forward. Gave four stars only because this was my first encounter with Dr Grollman.
Dr. Grollman provided exceptional service. He identified an existing problem and was to conduct surgery in two days to resolve a Kidney Stone that had grown to 11 mm and one mont prior another DR. had unsuccessfully attempted to remove the stone 30 days prior to Dr. Grollman's removal of the stone. The recovery has been quick with no issues.
I was referred to Dr. Grollman after having an issue with my prostate. I was in his presence no longer that 5 minutes and after putting up with his arrogance and unprofessionalism I left. I will not go back to him nor will I recommend this so called doctor who lacks basic empathy.
My experience was similar to a number of the other one star ratings. I found the practice to be mostly a procedure mill. The staff was friendly enough but seemed intimidated by the Dr. Dr Grollman himself was abrupt and arrogant. Once the procedure for my kidney stone was complete, I received no information about preventing future stones. Hopefully I won't need the services of a urologist anytime soon but if I do, I will definitely look elsewhere.
