Dr Grollman spent an inordinate amount of time with me, explaining my problem in detail. The tests were back immediately. Highly recommended

Business response:

Hello Customer, thank you for your kind review! We will be sure to share this with our team. Thank you.

My experience was satisfactory. He asked me questions relating to my issue, and offered several solutions and made a recommendation for a particular procedure. He seemed knowledgeable and I prefer that over personality.

I found him to be dismissive and unwilling to engage in a conversation about what I was experiencing. This visit was my initial visit and he was more interested in pursuing an invasive procedure instead of considering other options. I found his staff to be competent but unfriendly.

He lacks compassion and "bed-side manners" necessarily required of a doctor. He may be competent in medicine. He does not spend much time with a patient or attempt to understand the patient's problems and fears. On the whole, it might be be better to go to another urologist. Front desk person seemed upset and distracted.

Gave me, oh maybe five whole minutes of his time then rushed me out the door. Completely uninterested in understanding symptoms. Breezed into room, had no curiosity, and answered ZERO questions. Was not a nice or friendly person to me. I felt like I had interrupted his Very Busy and Important Day, not like a human being with a medical issue. This doctor does not answer simple messages written to him on MyChart. No thanks.

I was seen on time. I didn’t wait long to see Dr. Grollman. He listened, asked good questions, and outlined next steps in a treatment plan.

Dr. Grollman is patient and thorough. He recommended transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) for my BPH. The surgery was done without any problems, and recovery was painless. He answered all my questions completely. He is competent, thorough, and effective - all you can reasonably ask of a physician. I recommend him without reservations.
