I am currently Andrew's patient....I agree with each comment above....he is short and to the point but in being so he basically has no bedside manner to speak of. I had the TURP surgical procedure 3 weeks ago, which I must say seems to have improved my situation greatly....however, it did irk me that he did not come by to speak to his patient following the procedure, which is standard protocol for a surgeon. Dr. Grollman was arrogant and condescending during my visit. He did not do anything to treat my post-operative pain, and instead he treated me like I was wasting his time and told me to go the ER. It's unclear why he agreed to see me other than to take my money--he did not provide any care whatsoever. Not even any tests. He runs an ER referral service. I would discourage anyone from seeing Andrew Grollman, unless you enjoy being in unbearable pain.
This was my first visit with Dr Grollman. I found him very competent and knowledgeable. I appreciate his approach and agree with proposed treatment
Great Experience
Dr. Grollman was to the point and understood my situation. He also apologized for such a short encounter with me but there was nothing else to say. Made my return appointment on the way out and were all set. Maybe 5 minutes, short and to the point that's the way I like it.
I have been a patient of Dr. Grollman of and on over the past 15 years and have always found him to be professional and very helpful with his treatment recommendations. He always looks for a treatment that will be permanent if at all possible.
Absolutely I would recommend Dr. Grollman. In fact, while in the hospital for an unrelated matter I overheard several nurses saying they had a procedure by Dr Grollman and were very pleased. That solidified it for me, my own procedure done by him only a week later went very well.
