Excellent Really gets into the depth of your case. Explains everything works with what you prefer to do. Is very much an A1 Doctor in his vast knowledge. I was so very much impressed with everything he did . He did so much study on my case before I got there and my notes and summary were long detailed and he made me feel confident I would be well cared for. No rim shots here s full basket dunk.

I had my first appointment today with Dr. Barker. My appointment was at 9:15 and I was called back by 9:05 and he was in by 9:10. He was very thorough, looked at my MRI and referral notes and assured me that with my condition I should be hurting (that it wasn't just in my head) but there were treatment options and I was able to make my own decision. Based on this first impression, I am very happy that my spine doctor referred me to Dr. Barker.
Dr Barker is a very compassionate highly educated physician. I am both lucky and grateful to have found him.
I am the daughter of aging parents, 80 and 85. There was a mix-up with their appointment. The office staff, Cherie (PSR/front desk) and Becky (Office Manager) and Dr. Barker himself, worked my parents into an already-packed schedule. Knowing my parents came from home (2 hours away), they went beyond what was expected. They were very professional, actively listened and gave my mother treatment that will alleviate her pain. I give this team an A+++. Thank you for your consideration and care.

I had had an appointment with the Dr and had to reschedule and the staff was very nice about it. Come appointment day, I am shocked when a different doctor entered my room. Shortly after, I asked about Dr Barker...he stated that Dr Barker no longer visits Claremore and he would be my pain doctor. It was awkward, to say the least. I needed to have my pain meds refilled and an excruciating injection, in both shoulders, but he refused both. I have taken hydrocodone for more than 35 years for back pain, as needed.
