I was labeled a difficult patient because I told Dr. Parker’s PA Evan, I would NOT take anti-inflammatory everyday! I’d take a week here and there, but not daily.(my bff is in kidney failure because of those meds) Evan proceeded to tell me that he wouldn’t be giving me pain meds. I replied, “I didn’t ask you for any!” Then he repeated himself, “ I’m telling you again, I’m not giving you pain meds” I replied” AGAIN, I DIDNT ASK YOU FOR ANY, I don’t want them” I left angry! My next appointment I tried to talk to Dr. Parker abo... read more
Dr. Barker is the best. He listens and helps to diagnose the root problem. Pain is real but sometimes it is hard to diagnose the cause. He will work with you.
Friendly, knowledgeable, explains very well, makes you feel comfortable and not rushed. Staff is great as well. Total trust in him.
Dr Barker doesn't listen, makes mistaken assumptions, runs with them instead of actually listening to patient, even when he asks patient for "input." Ego is a big problem.
Dr. Barker was awesome! Explained all or my options and made sure I understood everything going on. Answered questions I had thoroughly and was very personable!! Made me feel at ease!! The staff was great, very friendly and helpful!!! Would highly recommend!! Not sure who the dr is that people rated as a one but doesn’t sound like the same dr even!!
He Also is great! Very good at telling me in a way I can understand. Also listened and did not rush the appt. Both him and Evan are great! Staff is awesome too!!!

The pain I had suffered with since Aug 2013.He wrote notes that would indicate he spoke with a former physician of mine but nothing in my file to indicate any contact. What he wrote was incorrect he does not know the entire story.Part of his notes were wrong like the medications I was taking. My SI joi... read more
Had RFA nerve block procedure last week and Dr Barker was outstanding. He lets you know exactly step by step what he is doing! Very professional.
He called me 20 minutes before my appointment to say he would NOT pre-medicate me before burning my nerves in my spine. He told me insurance wouldn’t pay for it but when I called my insurance, they assured me it was paid at 100%. So he lied. I opted to go ahead with procedure and another one 2 weeks later. THEN, he “fired” me because I called him out on his lie and poor treatment. He said he couldn’t get past our interaction. Well, I did but I can’t get past poor treatment from someone who can’t deal with someone who is upse... read more
