Nice Little Italian Restaurant – My wife and I love this little place. I always had good experiences at Andiamo. We took our parents on Mothers's Day and the menu was outstanding and the price reasonable. I've been in the restaurant business for a number of years and all I have to say is that it is very hard to please everybody.
Avoid this one! – Is this place for real? I cannot believe how rude the people are that work in this place. We were treated like second class citizens. The food is swimming in oil, the staff is unattentive and brash and it is very overpriced for what you get. We will never return here again.
Terrible service. – Very rarely am I accosted with such rude, stuck up waiters. I think this woman was the owner or something, and if she wasn't, she sure did act like it. The food was good enough to have possibly wasted my money at this place another time, but thanks to the reviews dipicting my exact unsatisfactory experience from others who have tried more than once, I'm going to save myself the trouble and stick with Nicks. Oh, and they get really pissy if you actually use the prime card offer.
Terrible service at ridiculous prices – We went to this restaurant because we live in Bellevue downtown and like to support local small businesses. The wine list was extensive and expensive and the wine they had available was 2 years older than what was listed on the menu!! The pear and gorgonzola ravioli was rich but pretty good and the saving grace of the evening. The wine was too young and was almost unpalatable. The waiter was rude and obnoxious and seemed to think that his european accent was enough to substitute for go... read more
Overpriced Italian – By far the worst Italian restaurant I've ever been to. For the price you pay you'd expect the food to have more flair as well as taste. The service was horrible as well because we had to wait well over 30 minutes for a waiter to come and take our order. I would highly recommend anyone to go somewhere else for good Italian.
Andiamo: "Let's NOT go!" – I used to eat at Andiamo at least twice a month in 2001, but the changes I found last night were heartbreaking. The succulent olive oil-drizzled bruschetta of the past has been replaced by two charred slabs of bread with a mound of slimey oversalted tomatoes. Spinach ricotta Ravioli was also oversalted, and because the server brought it to the table before I had finished my appetizer, it was lukewarm to boot. Though there were only three filled tables at 7:30, we had to stare down our server to get... read more
Great food! – This is the best Eastside Italian restaurant I've been to and is one of my favorites. I've returned MANY times. Recently, it appears that they have fine-tuned their meals and menu for the better. The chicken piccata and the pear and gorganzola ravioli are great. My only complaint is that it is a bit overpriced.
Zero Class in Owner, Waitstaff & Service – Andiamos ambiance is a unique mixture of very poor service and unbelieveably rude wait staff. We will NEVER eat here again and do NOT recommend it to others. After an incredibly disappointing evening of horrible service and a rude insult from the restaurant owner, we left the tip we felt they deserved - which was zero. The waiter then confronted us in the parking garage to insult us further. We dine out appx. 3-5 times weekly and always leave a 20% tip - so this was an exception bas... read more
Neat restaurant!! – I read the reviews after having already made reservations at Andiamo - a friend had recommended it to me. Most of the reviews posted here were terrible & not helpful. The restaurant is very quaint, soothing, and clean - not loud and gaudy. The service was gentle, prompt, and understanding of when their patrons need privacy. The food was delicious, however, on the richer side. We also met the owner, who was very cordial. I would recommend this restaurant to those who can afford it (entree + dessert = $25).... read more
