This was the WORST food experience ever – I was at a group function this evening with 9 other couples supporting this pathetic restaraunt. The owner served us (I'm being kind by saying served). It was more like we were a complete inconveinence. She threw the meals on table in front of us, rudely interrupted our guest speaker several times and acted completely disgusted with the fact we weren't going to order any wine. Not Just Bad - Horrible! – Tried it tonite. Poor to outright bad food quality, ho-hum wine list, arrogant and ignorant RUDE servers and greeters, nice room. All-in-all, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. IT IS HORRIBLE. Don't like to admit I made this poor a choice!
First date place! – I LOVE Andiamo and always take my out of town guests here. The food is AMAZING and so is the service. I am extremely picky about my italian food and they seem to be the best in Seattle by far. Make sure you leave plenty of time, the service can be slow when they are busy.
Don't Bother – We made reservations for a romantic evening for two and were treated to a table next to table for 7 with a toddler who insisted on banging on the table with his spoon. The wine list was disorganized, food mediocre, and service unattentive. Don't waste your time or your money on this place.
Overpriced – Tried Andiamo for the first time for lunch today. Met a friend and we shared the Pear and Gorgonzola ravioli and the Chicken Rosemary ravioli. Asked the waiter to spllit the orders putting some of each on our two plates. He said he didn't know if they could do that. C'mon for pete's sake. Staff is rude to the point of insulting. Food was just average. Prices were outrageous. Will not go back for seconds!
The food, the atmosphere, the location, and the service was more than we expected. I would recommend it to everyone. The only thing I would ask is that you leave some space for desert !!!! Thank-you for a lovely evening in "Bellevue's Italy". We will be back soon !
RUDE, RUDE, RUDE – What Snobs! Sorry, for the negative comment, but I have never had this kind of service especially at a restaurant where the waiters work for tips. In this case, I left a quarter. Maybe that will teach them that you can't be rude to your cutomers and still make a good tip. In addtion to the waiter, the other person who sat us was so unfriendly. Do they think because they work in Bellevue that they can just be SNOBS?!!!!!!
Love/Hate? – It seems people either love or hate this place. Personally I love it. The seafood risotto is excellent; the pasta is great. My favorite pasta is the pear and gorganzola ravioli--it is exquisitly sweet and creamy. The wine list is good, my major complaint being their poor storage--the wine sits out near the kitchen or on a rack in back. In the summer the red wine tends to be served too warm. Charming little place – I went to Andiamo with my husband last weekend. I don't know about the bad experiences of some of the clients who wrote the comments, all I have to say is that we had a memorable time. The food was oustanding and the server very nice and friendly. I also enjoyed our wine, the music, the candles and everybody around us seemed happy and relaxed. We were all having a great time!! Don't believe the negative comments. Try it by yourself. Highly recommended.
