Horrible customer service, owner is very rude – I visited Andiamo's for a birthday party with a large party. Upon entering the restaurant my first thought was that the atmosphere was very nice, however this first impression quickly vanished as soon as the owner approached my fiance and I. Long Wait – We had dinner there on Friday night with a 7:30 reservation. Well, we did not get seated until 8:05 and during that time we just stood and waited with as many as 11 others in the small area right inside the door, there by encroching on the 4 top that also happens to be right at the front door. Romantic Atmosphere, Amazing Italian Food, Excellent Service! – Im not sure why Andiamo got bad ratings in the past. We had a great time there last night: from the atmosphere to the service to the food. Andiamo is a bit tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of downtown Bellevue, but it makes for a cozier, more romantic atmosphere. Great food,wine,atmosphere and friendly service – Dispite some of not so good reviews, we went to celebrate to Andiamo. We were plesantly surprised by nice atmosphere, great food and service we received. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about wine, food and made the dinning at Andiamo wonderful experience for us. They need new servers/owners and ridiculously poor liquor selection – As a fellow restaurant owner, here are my OPINIONS. I just went there last night, a Friday 8:30. Their dining room was overlit. They have lights for their wall pictures, but the wattage is too high, so its like you're dining in a cafeteria. There are candles, but with so much light, it was useless and not mood setting at all. Worst of everything – So, I read the rest of the reviews and felt so vindicated! A friend and I went last week for lunch and just sort of wandered in because we both love Italian. The person who greeted us (sort of) told us we could sit "wherever", so we did. We ended up getting up after 10 minutes and getting our own menus (there were only 7 people in the restaurant!). Andiamo is a great place for special events! – We are Realtors and recently held our annual client appreciation party at Andiamo. We and our guests were thrilled with the atmosphere, food & service we received. Reyes & her team bent over backwards to acommodate our every wish. As a result, the party was a hit! We'll be back many more times, for sure. Thanks for a great experience!
Why does this have such a high ranking? – I have never in my life been in such a rude restaurant where the wait staff was so angry and so rude. It was actually shocking. It was like the whole place was running a prank on the customers to see who could get the walk-in people the most upset. The food was cold, not prepared to order. Worst restaurant experience EVER!!! – How bad can an Italian restaurant be? We had driven by numerous times and it was always empty, but we thought we'd give it a try.
