Lovely place fires always on best pub In town
Great little pub, homely atmosphere with no tv's and the stout is excellent
Called in for a quick drink and a chat with my fiancéin what we thought was a friendlylocal pub. We had a fraught morning and needed to quickly check our bank and dates regarding something extremely important and was immediately and extremely rudely told 'this is a no phone pub' I love that!! Having worked in hospitality for years I am a huge fan of encouraging people to socialise without being stuck in mobile phones but the key word here is ' encourage'. Wanted to call in and see how the new owners were handling the old place.. Still early days but will revisit as stout was very nice..
