I saw Sharon in 2021 for several months. Her expertise and compassion helped me immensely through a very hard family issue. I found her to be a good listener who adapted to my needs. She was amazing at helping me identify my feelings, process them, stop giving negative thoughts and self talk too much bandwidth, and eventually grant myself the grace and forgiveness I didn't know I needed. Dr. Tandon was very friendly, patient, explained the procedure and what to expect. He and his staff were very calming. They did not rush me with any of my questions.
I had cataract surgery by Dr. Tandon on November 17 and then again on Dec 1, 2022. Each was a wonderful experience. The entire team --- and there are many people involved --- was so welcoming and comforting. I couldn't have asked for more. My wife had the same surgery a week after mine. Dr Tandon was highly recommended by my Optometrist. He and his team (the coordinator, Leanna Pollock, was very helpful) guided me through the lens replacement process starting with an evaluation, explaining the many lens options and surgical risks. Surgery is then scheduled, usually on both eyes, two weeks apart. Each eye is followed by 4 weeks of eye drops and a follow up visit. There are lots of moving parts. I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Tandon and his entire staff. My cataract surgeries went very well and I thank Dr. Tandon for his expertise in that field. From start to finish, he and his staff were so pleasant, friendly and caring. I would highly recommend Dr. Tandon if you need cataract surgery.
Dr. Towning has done 3 complicated oral surgeries for my fairly young daughter, as well as removing wisdom teeth for my older children. He puts everyone at ease, explains what needs to be done and why and when, does an amazing job with the surgeries, explains post-surgery care, and follows up afterward. He also worked closely with our orthodontist. I absolutely recommend him!
Continued pain, redness, watering post-cataract repair. He referred my husband repeatedly to the local optometrist with whom he was associated. After 2 and a half months, she referred us to another ophthalmologist who found a fragment of the old lens still in his eye. Had to have another surgery, and also treatment by a retinal specialist due to the swelling in the retina due to the prolonged fragment being retained. After 6 months, my husbands eye is still having problems.
