They lie, promise no action
Totally inefficient customer service. Transferred on hold for 35 mins no one to answer questions. Just wanted to let them know I was switching insurance companies. On line chat on hold for 25 mins still no resolution!
AmeriHome company is the worst mortgage company ever! The CSR's are rude and incompetent, they never give you a straight answer are the same information twice, its different every time I called. They have been receiving my checks ever month, not applying them to my principle and now charging me late fees and reporting to the credit bureau I haven't maid payments in a year! Worst customer service. Clerical errors on our legal documents, which I had to fix. Getting calls that our FIRST payment is late yet we haven't finished the closing. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company!! Mimi Le and Carmen Santiago do NOT know how to proofread and expect their clients to fix their errors. WORST! WORST! WORST!!
Poor customer service. Long hold time, incompetent CSRs, the list goes on. I was affected with current COVID disaster and while I was on furlough I requested deferment. I have been trying to pay off the exact amount I owe, but different people have been quoting different amounts to me. This company is horrible. They have owed me money for over 45 days and have been giving me the run around for months. Their customer service is atrocious. They hang up on you and lie to you. They have told me week after week that they will refund the money owed to me and its been 45 days. They have kept almost $2000 of my money and refuse to return it or let me speak to anyone that can help me. I have called and sent written requests. Stay away from this company at all costs.

DONT EVER GET YOUR MORTGAGE THROUGH THEM NO MATTER WHAT! I’ve been with them for more than a year & it’s been a nightmare. They say they’ll pay your insurance then don’t. My payment has gone up $500 dollars because of an error regarding my taxes and escrow analysis. I have made endless attempts to correct this with Amerihome with no luck...I am going to potentially lose my home because of this and I have no recourse. The customer service and follow through has been terrible...I am at a complete loss for words.
