SO DISAPPOINTED IN SARASOTA, FL I found the perfect couch at American Signature. A cosmo cashmere loveseat/chaise. American Signature Furniture are liars. I also have received the run around from AS in Nashville. I ordered living room furniture in October 2009 and was told it would be in within one week. On the originally scheduled delivery date I was told my items were out of stock and wouldn't be in until the next week. I explained that I had to have the furniture by Thanksgiving and after being placed on hold forever they guaranteed me that it would be in within two weeks. Failed Furniture I purchased a loveseat,2 chairs, in July of 2009 I know this is just a year and half ago Furniture should last longer than this date time.Spent loveseat 479.00, 2 chairs at 399.00 each chair the seat is sagging seat, Seat is becoming flat. Customer Service...What a Joke! Their customer service SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought a sofa and loveseat and 3 days after delivery I realized the sofa was broken. There was literally a piece of wood poking out the back. I called customer service and they took a week to send someone out to say, "Yup, it's broken!" Four days later someone called to arrange the exchange for a new sofa, but told me when they were coming and would not reschedule. Disappointed in Kentucky Just received my new living room suite from AS in Knoxville yesterday. First , after selling us the furniture we could not get it delivered so had to pay almost $200 to rent a truck and have it delivered ourselves. Upon uncovering the furniture found out that 2 of the 4 pieces have damage. The sofa even has a 2-3 inch gap were the material wasn't even sewn. Sleazy marketing We went to AS for a bedroom set. A salesman met us at the door and showed us a set which was not exactly what we wanted, but looked fairly decent. Then I asked about the "Half Off Memorial Day Sale," and was told that meant half off equivalent furniture -- you have to look very closely at their sales ad to find this. Then, when he gave us a price for the set I remarked that it was much higher than the five piece sale price, I was told that the the bed was three pieces. AMERICAN SIGNATURE FURNITURE SUCKS! YOU WILL WAIT OVER A MONTH These people are awful! First tiem, they tried to sell me an ottoman that was on sale and it had a cut in the leather. 2nd time, I bought a sectional, gave them benefit of doubt, and they oversold the piece. They misrepresent that they have the merchandise to sell. They don't!!! you have to pay for it and then their factory makes it in China then it's shipped to Thomaston, sits in a container for weeks and you will wait over a month to get it! They suck! Store manager is very condescending!!!! Store manager is very condescending!!!! I am very happy with the Salesman who sold and explained everything with the delivery of our furniture and the delay of our King Bed, He showed me when it was expected to be delivered and verified it with the office personnel. Stay away from this place Customer service is horrible, we have a new dresser with a corner broken off of the outside edge, so we put it in the least noticeable position in the dresser. We tried to get it replaced; I went back the first time the day after delivery with the smashed drawer in hand, and the wonderful sales woman who took our commission saw me with the drawer in my hands and actually turned and walked away from me!
