Poor quality/worse service Bought a East Village Queen Panel Storage Bed recently from Smyrna Georgia branch and here's what I have to say... Piece of crap. I looked around at several furniture stores and bought this bed because I wanted a "Solid" Wood platform bed with drawers underneith. Idiot Management Want to know why theres a merry go round at ASF. I felt compelled to write after a dear and close friend went to work for your Kennesaw store. This person is a very professional and skilled sales person with over 12 years of auto and other product sales. I myself have managed a 20 million in sales electronic and computer store for many years. I understand quite well products sales and staff management. Very happy with VCF in Mich I don't know their business practices in other states, but in Michigan they're great. The salesperson explained their whole inventory wharehousing system. Its on a stock,- pull system and this is why they can keep prices dow. One wharehouse that all the stores pull from. 1st class service sells men are just what they are but kissers b.s. artist. but I got on time delivery, I had a dr appt later on in the day. the delivery driver call 1st thing in the morring let me konw what he had to do that day , when he would be here.. his name was brian, i bought from the kennesaw store, he was in & out he was working for his money. he helped me move a dresser that i could not do alone. wonderfull person , I work an industrial job & its imporant to take care of hard workers he was teaching another man ho... read more
Delivery Had a heck of a time trying to get me furniture delivered. I purchased it on 01/02. Was not delivered until 02/12/10. Had to call headquarters in Ohio to get some assistance. Management never returns calls. when you call them you are put on hold until you have to hang up and start all over. People in the office that set up the delivery date and time give a new definition for rude. I will NEVER purchase anything from ASF again.
Not A Smart Choice American Signature should be forced to change their name. Literally 99% of what they sell is imported from the Far East. Cheap quality, overpriced and they do not stand behind their product. We purchased 2 leather sofas and that were represented as 100% leather. Obviously this is not true as the leather is separating from the backing and looks terrible with only moderate use. We contacted the store and customer service said "Too bad, nothing we can do. Great furniture I have never personally bought something from them, but have heard great things about their furniture. They have a lot of variety and different styles. They carry a lot of contemporary stuff that you can change the upholstery on tooo. Lots of accessories too.
liars IRResponsible with their custumers Liar!! They tell that the furniture is available just to sell it and then surprisely it is not available until one month later. American Signature are liar. American siganture are taking advantage of their custumers. They offer good prices for furniture that is not available. We have to wait until they want to give to us. They told us that their bad reviews was because of the delivery company, however we were going to pickup our furniture and they dont have it.
Service We bought a sofa and breakfast table from American Signature Furniture two years ago. We took out the insurence as we knew the furniture is less expensive than elsewhere. Within the first year, two chairs to the breakfast table had broken. I called the service department and they sent someone out that week - a new chair arrived the following week. Now, a spring in the sofa has broken. I called again, and Jason, the store manager told me that the insurence we bought was mainly for the fabric. However, he said that he ... read more
