Horrible customer service! Extremely disappointing, poor customer service, conflicting informattion, false promises and lies. On March 3, 2012 after much thought and consideration, we selected and paid in full a red leather-like sofa sectional only to discover during check out it was not in stock but would be in on March 31 and could be delivered April 7. Need Furniture, look no further We looked and looked for furniture for our new home. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a friendly lady who was so very helpful. She walked around and helped us out more than she knows. They have an awesome selection and their prices are great. When it is time for more furniture it will be my first stop.
Unacceptable Service An absolutely horrible experience! I purchased a chaise couch, in addition to a queen bed frame, box spring, and mattress. When it came time for delivery, the 2 delivery men claimed they couldn't get my couch into the apartment because it was "huge" (mind you, my saleswoman never told me that this was a larger than standard couch-- there was no mention of dimensions whatsoever). WORST COMPANY EVER I purchased a movie theatre style couch back in March of 2010, and with that I also purchased the fabric protection plan. Well, long story short....my dog put a few rips and tears into the couch. So I called the claims number to file a claim, after being on hold for about 20 minutes, she informed me that it was denied. I then called the store I got it from and brought this concern to the table and they sent out a technician to my house to look at it. bugaboos one day on my day off, i went to american signature homes on barrett parkway just to pass some time till my class started. as soon as i entered 2 sales reps approached to me to ask if i was looking for something particular. i told them that i am just window shopping. so they left. when i started to walk around the store one of the reps was following me the whole time and bugging me to purchase something and if i did he will give me this "excellent" deal. i got so pissed i left the store.
As always...you get what you pay for... I have purchased furniture from A.S. for about 2 years now, and haven't experienced any problems. They have decent quality for a very low price. The best thing to do when having something delivered, is let them know you want to fully inspect it prior to them leaving, so they can take it back if it's damaged. Common sense. American Signature Furniture bad business practices In September 2009 I ordered a Juno 3pc living room special they were offering for Labor day. I was given 3 delivery dates. The first was the beginning of October, then the middle then a final delivery date of 11/3/09. It was definite that I was to get it because I confirmed the night before with the store. Small confusion...but well worth it. I just received the bedroom set I purchased from the store in Kennesaw, GA. I am so happy with the set I chose. There was some confusion about availability when I first ordered...but they got it straightened out and gave me an additional discount for the inconvenience. The furniture was delivered in a timely manner by 2 men who were wonderful and very professional. Discontinued Product after Purchase - Never Delivered I found a kitchen table that I wanted to purchase from American Signature online. I called our local store (Nashville) to purchase over the phone since the store is a 45 minute drive. I was told the company no longer took payments over the phone and I had to come in. I was able to go to the local store about a week later and purchase the table. I was told the table was in stock at the warehouse and would be delivered to the store the next weekend.
