Well, this has been nothing but a nightmare! It started fine with the sales rep. I like the product and the how fast they responded to come to this house. The windows came in actually little sooner that they had told me which was great. Then it began, the first contractor came out. Didn't even get there till 10:30 to install 5 windows. When he got there he had to leave to go to ****** because he didn't have enough material. So he took lunch while he was gone. He came back and got started about 12:45. Brandon T****** and Cody P*** installed a walk-in shower and toilet in our upstairs bathroom. They both displayed excellent professionalism and workmanship. They worked all day, nonstop, to complete the job. By using floor coverings, their own trash containers and tools , required no assistance from us for anything . I just had a two bathroom remodel completed, one of which was a Jacuzzi style walk-in tub, the other a top of the line shower install. The entire project took 5 working days to complete. I was happily surprised that the two man crew headed by Mr. Eddie R**** was able to accomplish the very complicated installations/conversions in that short of time. Our installer was Cameron M******. He was very professional and very polite. He installed our walk in shower all by himself. He hauled off everything and cleaned up when he was finished. The company is very professional and guarantee their work. we are very pleased with the work, our bathroom doesn't look the same, just better. Thank you American Home Design.
I wanted to leave less stars, but because I love, love my new walk in shower, I cannot. I love everything about it. It is waterproofed beautifully to the wall and window with a window sill included. Here are my issues: One wall corner for the outside of the shower was apparently not included in my package. Despite being assured someone would be out within a week of the installation of the complete shower, it is still undone. Installation was done in April 2022. The water pressure is not good at all. The installation of the new bath by Brandon T****** and his helper was great. He went above and beyond to try to get the new toilet, looking everywhere to get a suitable replacement to no avail, no one seemed to have what was needed. American Home Design is having a problem providing the toilet that was ordered for the job. As for American Home Design the support staff, there is a lot to be desired, not staying in contact with updates/status of progress every few weeks, not having what was needed to complete the job in the t... read more
