Very disappointed. I wish I would have read the complaints before I decided to hire American Home Design. We were told our shower would be completed in one day, but it took 2 complete and full days for the job to only be partially done. At the end of the second day (March 2) the installer told us it would be another 3 weeks before someone would come out to install the shower door. We share your disappointment that we did not communicate better on the time frames for installation. Each bath project is unique and we don't know 100% how long a project will take to install until we start; most are completed in 1-2 days. We are still experiencing product delays from the manufacturer, however it sounds like there was an unusual delay on the shower door and for that I am sorry. Travis installed our walk in shower in two days. He was very job oriented, worked hard, cleaned up the mess, and protected all floors and surfaces. We love our shower. We highly recommend AHD.
Seamless process from consultation to end product. Our installer, Brannon L*****, was most courteous and professional. Highly recommend AHD.
5 star for Karol B*******, the installer. 4.5 star for American Home Design. There were some time and miscommunication glitches. I believe they will work it all out, but we placed our order in January. Installation finished yesterday, June 2. We don't have the glass doors; they were just ordered today (I hope). We have to hire our own drywaller, plumber and flooring people (and my husband is going to be doing the painting). That makes the cost of the project go UP! We had a shower installed by AHD and because of difficulty getting materials our wait time was a few weeks longer than expected....BUT, it was well worth the wait. The installer, Travis S****, did a beautiful job. He kept the traffic area clean and protected as well as the install area completely clean when the job was finished. Travis was great...very respectful and constantly checking with us to let us know his progress and see if we had any questions about the project. Certainly for us it was a 5 Star experience.
