I left a google review in March, did not receive a response. I made an update and was asked to call the customer service number. I have called several times and left messages and still no call back. Flor has the worst attitude I have ever seen on a so called manager. Purchased an oven on 3/21 with a delivery date of 3/24. It was missing pieces and the oven did not work. I brought a bedroom set on January 9 2021. I received the bedroom set on January 21 2021. After a few weeks of having the bed ( around Feb 1 2021) the headboard and the foot board started to separate. On Feb 9 2021 the entire top piece of the footboard fell off the bed. I went online with the warranty company and filed a repair as instructed by the store manager and also called the corporate numbers an left voicemails but no return call. Misleading advertisement what they show in the sales paper and on the websites is not available in the stores very mis leading. I spoke to a representative name Dominic who told me never believe the website or paper because they get whatever the distribution warehouse sends and I am better off physically coming to the store to view what's available.

Inventory on the website is based on store inventory from around the country. Since sales are fluid, the inventory changes frequently. Confirming availability with the specific local store is an option.

I have purchased furniture from this company a few times over the years. Those were great experiences. Which why I am giving 3 stars. The experience I am having now is unacceptable. This one incident deserves 1 star. On April 10, 2021 I went to American Freight looking for a bedroom set. I selected one and the manager (i found out later he was the manager) said that they didn't have the dresser and mirror. I declined and proceeded to look at others. He said wait let me check. This is the worst possible customer service ever from the Fresno, California store!! I orders and paid online for a freezer. Paid for same day delivery of 100.00 extra. I got a confirmation and then accepted to have a frozen meet order delivered tomorrow from Omaha Meats. The assistent manager Jacob who we called to set up a time, they did not call us. Said they do not do same day and that was a corporate thing. They could deliver on sunday. Three days after my frozen food was to be delivered. He said I could come get it and... read more

I put a sofa on layaway in 2019 and still have NOT received it! I paid it off 3/16/20 which is the day the shutdowns began so I waited to request it. I requested it in October 2020 and even had it transferred to another store which told me to call back in 2 weeks, 2 weeks came and another 2 weeks. So I waited until March...and was then told it was never coming to the store I transferred it to, to transfer it back to the original store. I bought a Whirlpool compact washer and dryer from the Nashville store. I bought it using the financing plan. I was offered the 5 year warranty and declined because honestly I couldn't afford it. They were delivered one evening and the next day I did several loads. That evening my son did one load. The next day I did one load and that evening my son attempted to do a load. Buyer Beware! Horrible Company! They delivered a refrigerator that did not work. This is exactly why they have a no refund policy. They sell junk and then make you go through numerous steps to get a replacement. It has been 4 weeks trying to get a replacement. A technician has to verify that the appliance is unrepairable, it then takes the repair company 10 business days to submit the request for replacement to American Freight.
