This was our 3rd trip to this hospital and every time the nurses and other staff have been very helpful.
I have only visited my friend who is undergoing rehab and physical therapy there currently (just a day after he was transferred there) but he, his family and I are pleased with his improvement already. The staff I have met so far are very kind and professional. I will have the opportunity to visit him ar least twice a week, so I am looking forward to meeting more of the staff and cheering on my dear friend. Scheduling my son's surgery has been very frustrating. They are trying to schedule the surgery for 2:30PM. They expect a 1.5 year old to not eat at all the whole day. We inquired about reschedule for future date/times, but they said they can't give us any guarantees. We also went there for pre-surgery checkup and had to wait in the room for 45 minutes. I haven't been impressed at all during any interaction with them. For a hospital dedicated to serving children, I sure haven't seen any signs they accommodate them.

Beautiful and non threatening hospital. We had a great experience with the cardiology department. The ultrasound techs were so patient and skilled when we had to take our newborn there. The doctor was amazing too. It was a good experience but thankfully we didn't have to go back because her heart was perfect. :)
The staff are so friendly and willing to help. And the doctors and nurses are amazing with the children. I'm blessed to have my daughter getting excellent care here on her visits. I wish all hospitals had staff as friendly and helpful as American Family Children's. Thank you so much for her care!!!
Kudos to the entire staff. We came in very late Thursday evening with my 10 yr old daughter with broken arm. The ER staff was awesome and made her feel very comfortable and they even had a party during her procedure. We ended up having to stay for surgery on Friday and staff was great getting us settled in very early morning after a very long night. Dr Noonan and all the nurses were very friendly and always keeping us informed on what was going on. Will definitely be recommending you to others.
