The staff and volunteers here are incredible. For Halloween my little girl was so sad that she was missing trick or treat. They had volunteers come with Halloween prizes and painted her face like a kitty. Little things like this really changed her mood and helped with healing.
My daughter had an MRI under conscious sedation and the Peds sedation team was amazing!!! The RN's (Jill and Kailyn), CNA (Darnell) and the child life specialist (Brianna) were absolutely amazing with my daughter! They kept her happy, entertained and explained everything to her in a way she could understand (she is 4yo). Her doctors (Dr. Webber, Tricia (NP) and Dr. Hollman) kept us informed and most of all kept our daughter safe and healthy! Thank you all for your awesome care!!! It is truly appreciated!
My son recently had surgery on a broken arm. The surgeons were very thorough with their explanations and the doctors and nursing staff were amazing.
We hate AFCH. Dread every visit. But it's the only hospital with a CF center in our area so we deal because we have to :(
