My 5 year old arrived scared and sick and after the treatment of the awesome doctors and nurses he didn't want to leave!!!
My son had surgery yesterday and from the moment we walked in until we left we encountered nothing but professional courteous staff. Dr. Su was amazing with our son as well as the anesthesiologist and support surgical staff. I loved the childrens theme in the hospital, as well as being able to escort our son back to the OR and sit with him while they sedated him. My son was born with a heart defect and had open heart surgery in their Milwaukee hospital and I have not one complaint
I was in AWE with AFCH. My son has a bleeding disorder and he was admitted through the ER with extremely low platelets and a possible brain bleed. Every person we came in contact with was absolutely amazing. EVERYONE from house keeping to physicians. Simply AMAZING place! Thank you American Family Children's Hospital for taking such amazing care of Cayden!

The staff just knew how to relate to young ones, like our seven year old grandson. They were upbeat and lighthearted when interacting with our little man who had a difficult surgery, was confined to one position and was experiencing pain and discomfort. Their prompt responses to our grandson's needs were reassuring and helped to provide a safe environment. We are very grateful for such compassionate care. Grandma
