Wouldn't even give them a star but had too. Customer service is a joke and they are rude. I was promised if I made a referral and they got a got a car using me as a referral I would get a little money.NEVER happened kept getting the run around. I was called once on a payment and they overcharged me because the car lot didn't turn in my payment on time. Was promised my over payment would be applied to my next bill. Again NEVER happened. ONE WORD SCAMMERS i haven't even had my car a year and i started experiencing mechanical issues i called them and the lady told me that i went over the miles that my warranty would cover i told her that no one told me about the millage they just told me my car was covered under warranty for a year also oil change and everything i called an i was told that they only work on cars that has been purchased within 2 weeks im considering terminating my lease i don't care about paying the penalty the car is sitting in front of my ho... read more

Only 1 star because I had to. First theyre overcharging for the cars. Second within 4 months of having the car check engine light comes on several codes for that, I had to miss a payment because I had to get the car fixed just so I can go to work whenever I called to see about the warranty they said they used 2 places one in my town and another a town away. Very very shady. A lot of fine print. Then they start charging late fees even when a payment was a day early. They also charge a damage fee. When asked what this was they said for not having full coverage ins. I pay $320 a month on mine and my husband pays over $100 a month just in car insurance. They don't even check. Just **** you then tell you to prove it. They give you an 800 number to a company called Allied where you are on an extremely long wait. We pay $450-$500 a month for each car for 5-6 years then you have to pay... read more

I purchased a 2017 VW Jetta and I experienced mechanical problems. It was repaired at a VW dealership and I asked American Financial to assist with repair fees and they agreed. I paid my half and they would pay their half. After receiving my half no one returned my calls or replied to my emails. There customer service was very unprofessional with no concern for the customer. I spent 1.5 hours trying to rectify this problem but I still got nothing resolved. I payed off the vehicle several months ago, I called to see when the title would be sent, was told 4 to 6 weeks! Cool, no problem. I have waited the 4-6 weeks 3 or 4 times so far! Each time I call I'm told "we're sending an email to see what's going on, and someone will be in n touch today" I have yet to receive a call, a email, a smoke signal, NOTHING! I NEED MY TITLE, at the very least an actual update or a call back. Terrible

I wouldn't recommend nobody to any AMERICAN CAR CENTERS..THEY ARE RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL..I haven't even had my **** ecosport a year yet..my truck start giving me problems..I reached out to the dealership to explain wat was going on..they told me they would get back with me..never heard from them..every time I called..all I was getting was voice-mail...I called the ********* **** location where I got my vehicle from..once I explained to them the problem I was having and would I get a loaner car..they told me..they don'... read more

I bought a suv from American car center but is financed through American financial. They have constantly called back o back several times a day to the point of harassment. I got sick and lost my job and fell behind on payments. The car is a lemon because within 2 months of having it, the car broke down on side of a major express way in *******.
