I had a total loss accident January 12th 2022 the insurance company sent the payout to the corporate office in Tennessee about 2weeks later which the insurance told me that the corporate office was asking for the total amount of the payout instead of what was owed on the vehicle which is strange because normally they only ask what is owed on the vehicle I owed $6,786 plus a $3,200 residual and then they were charging me for their dealership insurance which I never needed so now instead of owing under $10,000 I owe the dealer... read more
This CAR PLACE IS TERRIBLE & should be shut down !! I've waited over 7months for a TAG !!! I still don't have it . I call every day & I get the same run around story . This is pathetic! Y'all take away from ppl assuring them with a good car / business , & then don't have anything to do with them !! But call harassing about a payment! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE !! The company is horrible. Their customer service is trash. The supervisors try to belittle you when you call and ask questions about your payment. They also tell you that you get your title after paying off the car at the end in full but in reality they don't even release the titles at all. It is sad how many customers have complained about their service yet they are still open
This Company is a rip-off I went with my daughter to purchase a Nissan Santra. I leave so she can finish up with the signing she call me telling she in a different smaller car. I wasn't what I signed for nor did they call me to tell me why! So when I call they to cancel the deal take my name off the car the told me they can't do that mind you the car never left the dealership. And now they don't want to return the deposit!!!!! I Guess the want a lawsuit.
I purchased a car from the location in Marietta, GA in December 2019. I was in a wreck on February 5,2022 and the car was totaled. I've called 4 times to get the payoff to be told they'd send it in an email. The email never comes. On 12/1/21 they reported to the credit bureau I owed a little over $14k. I made payments in December and January. Today my insurance company calls about submitting payment to them. I ask what my payoff is. She tells me $17708. I been with American car center for 5-years and now that i only owe 2966.33 they telling me i can't make a payment because i don't live in Memphis anymore i live in Texas and i been here since OCT and i been making payments with no problem they are to make me pay in full now because of where i live. That isn't right at all
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SNEAKY BUSINESS. I was in a wreck TWO YEARS AGO and paid off my fees and charges and went else where to look for a new vehicle because they one I had was a lemon. There were problems from the start with the car, including engine damage and tire rod problems. This business needs to be shut down for their shaking business deals. As soon as they ran my credit and had all the information, I was told I could have any car on lot. Then I was told I would need to have a co-signer due to my income. Add someone as a co-signer giving a total income of over 70k. Apparently, that still wasn't good enough and days later I'm watching the vehicle being towed/repo and my hard own money not being refunded due their negligence and lack of communication
I Wish I could leave 0 Stars This Company as a whole is trash. so much I could say where do I start I have my car for little over a year wasn't late not one time I lost hours at my job do to Covid. The car alternator went out I ask them could they help to fix it they agreed with a side loan I agreed to it thinking it wouldn't be much. Oh!
