AACU is a mess. I opened an account and they forgot to send my card and checkbook. Now they're saying I didn't order an initial checkbook. 75% of the time I call them, the customer service rep transfers me to the "correct" extension, but when I explain my case to the new person they say "sorry we don't handle that here". I'm also trying to reset my security questions but nobody I have talked to knows how to do that. I'm baffled at how disorganized everything is.
So I accidentally missed a CC payment, which is my fault, but they conveniently send an email after 30 days so there is nothing they can do about a negative mark on my credit report. I'm looking for a new place to bank.
Called me within minutes of someone illegally using my check card account, 400 miles away. Reimbursed me 100%. I'd call that Covering My Back. Thanks AA Credit Union.
