One of the worst credit unions and banks I have ever put my money in. These people don't care about their members. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT bank here. I have been treated poorly over the phone multiple times by their employees.
American Airlines credit union added some Auto Insurance and took 1800 Dollars from my saying I didn't have Auto Insurance, which I had since 2014, Plus I went to the credit union and took them my Declaration of Insurance, 2Times, they say they Never got, Sad credit union, Thats Why I sent my Direct Deposit to Navy Federal Credit union, as soon as my loans I owe At American, I will never do no more Business with them.!!!!
American Airlines Credit Union is of the highest interest paying brick and mortar banking institutions that I have ever been a part of. The high dividends keeps me banking with these guys. They also are very gracious with helping to build personal and business credit, and I use them for both purposes. Customer service at JFK Airport terminal 8 branch isn't the best however, I stick around for the high dividends.
I have been attempting to address & resolve a FRAUD & THEFT situation from my account with the CU, only to be stonewalled & ignored with every effort by Erica Shadowen, Robert Santner, Carla Sosa, Beth Nganga & Beatriz Rivera. Completely rude, unprofessional & uncaring.
Had an issue with my credit card payment and member services took care of everything and reversed all the late charges and fees. I was fed up with how banks usually treat their customers but AAFCU is different. Your customers relations management is exceptional as well as the products you offer to your members. Switching to AAFCU was the best decision we made for our family. Keep up the nice job!
