Had a really lovely weekend with my partner, our room was upgraded free of charge to a Stargazer Suite which was a lovely surprise and the room was fabulous 👌 thank you ❤️ All the staff were friendly and helpful especially all the staff in the restaurant 😊 breakfast was delicious and the meal we had in the evening was equally as nice 👌 will definitely be back xx
We stayed at Ambleside Salutation on 5th October. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. However, there were a couple of disappointing aspects that have left us unlikely to return. This trip was for my birthday, and my partner had contacted the hotel in advance to ask if they did anything special for birthdays. He was told they didn’t offer anything complimentary, but for £15, they could arrange a gift on the bed. Fantastic from start to finish, superb service food, spa rooms, cleanliness- location is absolutely amazing, on site parking. Worth every penny
Staying here at the weekend. Spa offered a deal when staying. When contacted they have refused the deal and offered full price treatments in place. False advertising and very poor service. Similar theme with other 1 star reviews of the spa being poor. Will update after stay.
