I have noticed that at the Alton towers theme park resort they appear to have separate car parks for the the theme park and for their accommodation. The accommodation car parks are small but they have extra parking available on car parks J, K and L. It's advisable to park as close to the hotels as possible and walk to the reception to ask for advice or to see if they have allocated spots for unloading your vehicles before parking up for the evening. CP is as big as the theam park itself.
Literally loved it here. Great hotel, very relaxed and comfortable. No issues with parking. Real sense of peace of mind knowing it was safe in the hotel carpark.
