ER has some very rude personnel and doctors. Nothing like being talked down to when your ill. On the flip side, I have gone in to get x-rays done for my back problems. Not sure the ladies name who did mine. But she was a ray of sunshine. Showed caring and kindness and made me feel very welcome. Helped me with turning and moving with the pain in. That was worth it.
I recently attended orientation for new employees. There were several speakers discussing different topics from history of the hospital, corporate policies, safety, and education. Each employee was eager to speak about their topic and truly excited and proud to be an employee for AMH. I would've given an excellent rating; however, there were several technical difficulties throughout the day that I believe could've been resolved before the classes. Everytime I come in the hospital with my husband Joseph Campbell ER. are excellent personnel in the ICU staff is excellent. And it's not because I work there it's because every employee is compassionate I am so glad I worked at the at this Hospital I'm proud of all the staff there

I arraived at 1pm after falling and hitting my head on the kitchen sink...they said i had to go to the regular er due to hitting my head. At 5pm a nurse i know there saw me and looked at my paperwork and asked why i was still waiting...she got me in fasttrack...the dr didnt do any tests no ct scan or anything...kept telling me my head hurt due to sinuses....never once addressed the fall...did give me a pain shot that wore off in about 20 minutes...im still dizzy and in alot of pain...my head is pounding...and my head is brui... read more
I know you can't do much when someone has a seizure, but they weren't very attentive. Only one nurse was really nice and I saw the doctor for like five minutes. The EMT's did more than anybody at the actual hospital.
Let's just say the word excellence they keep striving for did not happen then and is still not happening today!
