I think alton memorial is a very good hospital with doctors and employees ,meaning nurses and people working on the floor , from mary and earl stoops .

Shame on you guys! You sent my mom home when she still couldn't breathe from the ER so her "oxygen wouldn't arrive late at home." You gave her no options for medicine and she still is having trouble. She said it was difficult for her to breathe still and you guys sent her out of there so fast. Very disappointed and will make sure everyone knows this! You gave her scripts with no way of even getting them. Now she has no way of getting meds and you guys simply "signed her off and kicked her out".

Avoid this hospital at all costs! My son was seen here and misdiagnosed as having a sprain when he had a broken bone. They are incompetent. Then they rebroke he is hand when their security used extreme force to restrain him while he was trying to leave and forced him into a psych evaluation where he was further treated horribly. We have obtained representation and will file a lawsuit. These people should not have jobs! Terrible!

Over all, my experiences at Alton Memorial Hospital are satisfactory. It has been my preferred hospital for many years. I am so thankful for caring, understanding staff.

I couldn't of asked for better care! I had a hysterectomy done and from start to finish everyone was absolutely wonderful. They were prompt and caring and very professional. Thank you all so much!!!
