This was the worst hospitality experience in the the last 20 years of traveling. The Hotel cancelled my family's reservation shortly before arrival, during Edinburgh Festival Season. Giving us no suitable alternative rooms and refusing to rebook us to another hotel in the city, left us stranded, having to book another hotel last minute during festival season, costing a fortune. Then it took weeks to get my money back. If you have the option to stay literally anywhere else in the city, do it. I do not recommend.

Excellent hotel! The place was lovely, absolute adorable decoration, and so easy to manage. The location is great, walkable distance to the city center. I completely recommend.

Just awful. Do not stay here. My room had this terrible noise that went on all night. I complained and was told “no one else has complained” and given earplugs. The floor tiles in the bathroom were broken and I nearly cut my foot. Claims to be a 4* hotel. It’s barely a 2*.

Absolutely appalling customer service, there is no one on site to speak to when there’s a problem, our lock on our door was nearly falling off and we couldn’t get back into our room and we had to email and call and was not seen to for two hours. I was also abruptly hung up on twice
