We’ve been seeing Almouie Pediatrics, in Portland for 10 years UNTIL their Calallen office refused to see my son who was running a high fever and ended up having the flu last weekend! The Portland office pushed and pushed the Calallen office, being open on Saturday! Only to make the drive and be told to go elsewhere. My son has gone to Almouie Pediatrics since birth! RecommendedThe wait time is usually not that that long to see you. It would be better if they would take walk ins.
RecommendedI have been taking my son to the Bulverde location since he was 4 days old. He’s my first born so I’m extremely picky when it comes to how he should be treated and from day one they have been so sweet to my son. They always put my mind at ease even if I call to ask about something. They have never once made me feel dumb for coming about something that turned out to be nothing. Went to clinic located at 4130 s. New Braunfels SA. Receptionist says we’re not seeing walk in today. We’re booked and only 1 provider. I said well I’m sorry but my daughter is sick and needs to be seen. She was seen. And was swabbed for the flu test “The MA” that swabbed her needs more training. DR llamas was very rude and I reported her to administration!! Dr Llamas said my child doesn’t have the flu. So I go get a second opinion right after leaving the office. Went to urgent clinic. RecommendedI have never had a bad experience with Almouie Pediatrics. My kids are so good and calm with Brian Greening FNP. My favorite thing is they are open on the weekends! Very convenient!
At one point I was very happy with this place but for the past couple of months I have been very disappointed. I take my kids in when they get sick and they never prescribe anything just tell me it’s viral which I understand but my kids have been sick for the past month so at what point do you prescribe something. Also it takes forever to be seen. I called and asked what doctor was there and they said a name which I corrected them and said so and so is an NP.
