After a disappointing valuation from an online gold merchant, I asked them to return my jewellery to me and they charged me for the privilege. I took 2 rings in to Kim at All Gold Matters. He offered me the same price for one ring as the other merchant offered for both and advised me to sell the other ring as a piece, rather than for scrap, as it’s worth more that way. Absolute gent. Went to scrap some gold and he offered us £18.89 per gram - about £10 less than current scrap price. I get he has to make a profit, but nowhere is buying gold for £10 less per gram on scrap prices. They say they have the best gold rates around, even on their shop window - £18.89 is probably the worst around. Would not reccomend, don't allow yourself to be fleeced out of money!

I had a very bad experience at this place last month when trying to sell some gold jewellery that i had. The price offered to me was much lower than the spot price of gold on the day. I realise that businesses like this have to make a profit, but frankly this was laughable. Not a chance that i would ever go there again.
