The hospital is great and works hard to comfort their patients. Their ER has typically the worst waiting time.
I've always had a good experience at Alexian brothers however On April 4 when I went in there I was so disgusted with their service before I left I should've gone directly and complained The nurse was so rude and had no personality whatsoever And believe it or not there was a nurse practitioner working in the ER who is absolutely worthless came in and saw me once and I was there for over 5 1/2 hours
I came in because my kids pediatrician (an Amita affiliate, medical care group) told me to go to the ER after my son closed the door on his finger. I waited about 2 hours at the ER where they looked at his finger took 2 xrays placed bacitracin and a bandaid. Total charged with insurance was $1200.00 out of pocket. Are you kidding me?? What a joke. Since my Pediatricians office affiliated with Amita the care has changed for the worse. Currently looking for another Dr and never going back to Alexian Brothers.
I was there on my birthday and at lunch the cafeteria sent up a birthday cake with my lunch.
