We had our main bathroom completely renovated which involved ripping out old ceramic floor and wall tiles, replacing and replastering walls and ceilings before fitting new ceramics with underfloor heating. After visiting Japan we also decided to have a Japanese toilet installed which was no problems for them to install and integrate into the project.
