Unfortunately I had a poor experience using Alba rental vans. I had booked a van for my brother and I to do a roadtrip in Scotland. I received an email at midnight on the day that I was supposed to pick up the van. I was already in route from the United States when I got the message. I called them 3 times that morning after their opening hours but did not get a response. They finally responded to my email saying that they did not have any other van models available for us. We rented a standard van for a week long road trip in the highlands. The van was the perfect size for two people. Big enough to be comfortable for sleeping but not too big for driving easily on the narrow roads. Cell service can be spotty at the pickup/drop off location and it can be hard to get an uber from there so I recommend planning ahead for that. For the second year, we chose Albacampers, and once again, they did not disappoint! 7 special days in a van, which also allowed us to explore the wonderful Outer Hebrides! AlbaCampers' service was precise, punctual, and very courteous! Last but not least, the price was truly top-notch! Highly recommended :)!!

The van was the perfect size to navigate the roads all around Scotland. We enjoyed staying at various campsites/caravan parks along our journey - great way to see the gorgeous country. The van had most things we needed, can’t fault it! The only minor obstacle was that it’s located a little outside of the city.

Alba Campers are so friendly and helpful. We rented a van for 10 days and had the most incredible time exploring the Scottish Highlands. They made the whole process very smooth and enjoyable, we would definitely recommend!
